All giving is an expression of joy. All giving is giving of joy. We give because of love. Love desires to give joy and happiness.

Whenever you give anything, you give something spiritual along with it. The feeling that you give with is the spirit of your giving. The feeling is the energy of your giving. When you give with joy, the energy that you send forth is that of joy. But when you give with the lack of joy, the energy that goes with your gift is a negative one.

When we give, we are not just giving a thing but we are also giving the energy that goes along with our giving. The energy that you give with is really more important than the gift itself. The essence is always joy although the form can be anything. When you give with joy and happiness, you bless the gift with the energy of joy and happiness and it will flourish with whom you give it to.

As you sow, so you shall reap. What goes around comes around. The energy you give out is the energy that returns to you. That is the reason why God wants you to be a cheerful giver.

Try to arrange your giving at times when you are feeling positive, happy and joyous. Try to refrain from giving when you are feeling down, negative and upset. Unless you know that you will definitely feel the opposite after doing so. Sometimes your energy is negative and you want to refrain from giving it away as much as possible because whatever you give multiplies. The only time to express your negativity is when it won’t affect anyone negatively or it is to a friend who is there to share your sorrows. That person is in an emphatic state to receive your negativity and dampen its effect or transmute it to positivism.

It is also as important to receive with the right kind of energy as it is to give with. You should not allow yourself to feel bad or ashamed about receiving a gift from someone else. You should receive it joyously and cheerfully as well. When the energy of joy in giving is met with the energy of joy in receiving, both parties are doubly blessed.

God is the joy giver, to give thanks is to express joy back to God for the joy he has given to you. The same energy that you give is the same energy that you’ll attract. Express joy to God and in return, you gain more joy. Seeing people express joy and appreciation about what you’ve given to them is all the thanks in the world you need from them, and it attracts more of those things from you. Being joyful, contented and happy attracts things that give you such emotions in your life. The key is to rejoice, to express your joy and gladness about something whenever you have the opportunity to do so and to express it immensely.

You can express your joy of receiving by giving to others. God blesses you so that you can be a blessing. You can express that joy by doing something that blesses others. That is what you would feel like doing and would want to do anyway. As you have freely received, so shall you feely give. When you sow bountifully, you shall reap bountifullly. Gratefulness leads to more receiving and the joy of receiving leads to more giving which leads to more receiving and giving. It is a beautiful and continuously expanding cycle of prospering and flourishing.

Giving and receiving are two aspects of exactly the same thing in accordance with the universal law of polarity. The amount of joy with which you give will be reflected in your joy in receiving and vice versa. It is in giving that you would also receive according to the immutable law of cause and effect. Often you would receive many times in magnitude more than you gave. But that should never be your motivation for giving. God always give out of unconditional love and joy. It is in the same Spirit of unconditional love and joy that you should give back to the universe.

As an integral and inseparable aspect of God, whatever you give to the universe, you equally give to yourself and the universe, and which will be reflected in your ability to receive. When you receive in whatever magnitude over that which you gave, you should always receive with extreme sincere gratitude. It doesn’t matter how much you have, or whether you think you can afford it or not. Give freely, joyously and with gratitude, and your reality and wealth will be enhanced considerably. Always give joyously and you will receive joyously.

When you give money, you are giving your life. Because money is gotten by giving your time, energy and effort in exchange for it. These things are your life. Who you give money to is who you show your love to. You give your life to who you love. The love of money is the root of all evil. The love of money means you only want money for yourself and not give it away. You want to accumulate and hoard it up and only use it to bless yourself and not others. It is being a lover of self more than a lover of God. What you do with money shows whether you have the love of money or that you use money to love others.

The Lord says they that sow in tears shall reap in joy. How can that be? Shouldn’t they that sow in joy reap in joy and they that sow in tears reap in tears? The explanation is joy and sadness are similar in nature but different in degree. Joy and sorrow are opposite polarities of the same emotional spectrum. That means joy can be transmuted into sorrow and sorrow can be transmuted into joy.

When you sow in tears, you are caring a lot. When you care a lot about someone, you can be emotionally affected. You seek to give your help and support to the person in need. But when the time comes where you see the blessings start unfolding in the life of person you care about, your sorrow turns into joy and you no longer weep tears of sadness, but tears of gladness instead. The tears are tears of compassion, and the rewards of acting in compassion is joy.
